This is a complete Dash Pad for a 1968 to 1979 Midget. Remove your switches, gauges and remove the pad. It's a great way to freshen up the look of your car. This crash pad is made like the original pad. It is filled with crash absorbent foam like original and then if covered is thin vinyl with the correct grain. All of these things add up for a perfect looking crash pad for your MG Midget. Other aftermarket pads that are out in the market right now have none of these features and some of them are dangerous. Our pads have the correct crash absorbent foam made to cushion during a crash. Other manufactures have made their pads out of a solid foam which does not have the correct grain and does not absorb shock like the original. Note this dash pad does not have the small indent for cars with manual choke. The manual choke can still be used but will sit flush. 453-817
