Transmission Gear Selector Bushing MGB 68 to 80

If you have to guess if your shifting your transmission to second or fourth, this bushing is worn out in the shifter of your MGB. Being of nylon this bushing is robust but with use it will wear out an you will have an excessive amount of play when shifting. Get back the nice firm feel of the transmission and replace this bushing. Note this is the bushing at the front of the shift selector. Cross Reference 462-420
