This is a complete exhaust hanger and clamp kit for a Triumph TR3 and TR4. This kit is an upgrade for the original style fitting kit used on the the Triumph TR2 to 3A Type. The improved design allows the whole exhaust system to move as the engine moves on its mountings, causing minimal torsional forces on the individual boxes. The early Triumph TR2 and TR3 system rigidly mounts both silencers to the cruciform, and the movement of the engine causes torsional stress on the joint between the downpipe & the silencers. This frequently reduces the life of this joint so it is our option this later mount system is a superior design. Keep your new exhaust system from hanging down on the ground. Cross Reference 812-048
