This pad might not seem like much but it is very important to the health of your taillamp. It seals the to the lamp base and keeps moisture and debris from entering the inside of the the lamp, nothing looks worse than a tail lamp that has enough water in it that is looks like a fish bowl. Weather, hash cleaners and time will deteriorate this pad. Put a new set in your MG and your tail lamp will be happy. Cross Reference 164-840
