Description
This is the correct 3 piece clutch kit made by Girling for the Austin Healey Sprite MkI, MKII 948 (9CC Engine) and MG Midget MKI 948 (9CC Engine). This clutch configuration is different from the other engine combinations used. With the 948 engine (which will have the engine markings of 9CC) the clutch disc has the size of 158mm or 6 1/4 inches with a spline count of 10. . Also the release bearing has a different height compared to the other years of cars. It has a height of .775 inches from the top of the pivot to the carbon face. It is very important that you have the correct clutch fork (2A3406 or 22A219) that was used on the Sprite and Midget to insure proper clutch release.
