This Pertronix Ignitor System and Flame Thrower Ignition Coil Kit will take all of the guess work out of what is needed to improve the ignition on your Austin Healey BJ7 from #29F-H3563 to BJ8 with Distributors 40920 and 40966.2. Never change points again or have to adjust points again! With this kit you get a high out put Pertronix Ignitor that produces twice the voltage to the spark plugs than standard points, a 40,000 volt Flame Thrower Ignition coil matched to the Ignitor and easy installation instructions. Both of the Flame Thrower coils produce the same voltage, it just depends if you would like a bright Chrome Coil or Stain Black coil. You do not need to remove the distributor from the car and no new wires will need to be run to install these units. Your car will start easier, run smoother and have no maintenance.
