Having the proper tools makes your life so much easier. With your British Car there is a little more maintance involved than your modern car. The life of you camshaft and valve train can be greatly shortened if you do not adjust your rocker arm distance to the valves on the cylinder head. This should be done about every 1500 miles to keep the adustment right were it should, and having a feeler gauge with the proper angle makes adjusting the valve such an easier job. We have found this set of feeler gauges to have the proper angle to get a good feel on the gap between the valve stem and the rocker arm.
