When replacing your oil pump you need to take off the oil pan and should always replace the oil strainer. The oil strainer is made of a fine wire mesh that over time vibration can fatigue the material and will put a fine wire all throughout the engine. By purchasing this kit there is a huge saving over buying the part individually. It includes an new oil pump for the MGB 5-Main Engine (POL702), Oil Pump Strainer, and Lower Gasket Set (EG411).
