Description
All MGBs from 1969 to 1980 use these screws. Each side of the top frame is attached to the body with three of these screws. They are 1⁄4 screws, about 1 3⁄4 long. They have a
Posi Drive Philips countersink head with fine thread which is impossible to get these screws at your local hardware store. They become loose in their holes eventually. They vibrate and the threads get stripped or worn down. Left long enough, it ruins the threaded holes in the body behind the doors. This is extremely difficult to repair properly.
