Your cooling fan is vitally important to keeping your engine cool. With age your old fan will become brittle and will break off fins. This leads to an imbalance and wears out the bearings in the water pump plus it will not cool as well. With this new 11 Blade fan you will get great cooling at low engine speeds and it will be quiet. Please double check on how your fan blade is installed. To most people the correct installation looks backwards, the smooth side faces the water pump. Call if you have questions about this.
