Description
This is a 100% Brand New Caliper with Stainless Steel Caliper Pistons in 16P Style for Austin Healey 3000 late BJ8 (from 26705). Rebuilding old stuck calipers can be a chore. Why go through the trouble of having calipers pistons done in 316 Stainless, because it is the best! 316 Grade Stainless is Marine grade stainless steel which give a higher level of finish compared to other stainless steel. And Marine grade has a higher leved of Molybdenum which means better corrosion resistant to sea water and chloride (Road Salt). And to top it off the 316 Grade Stainless Steel has a greater thermal barrier, which keeps the heat out of your brake fluid. These calipers offer a Win Win on all levels. Start fresh with these modern calipers. The old calipers used a bubble style sealing boot that was very susceptible to damage from heat. These calipers use the latest design that keep the boot away tucked close to the caliper for long life. Enjoy the comfort in the knowledge that your brake caliper pistons will never rust again and it will be the last set of Pistons your Austin Healey will ever need. . Don't forget brake Pads, use # GDB541. Cross Ref.# 180-568, 181-551 and 181-561, 180-553 and 180-563, 27H2988 and 27H2989, 311851 and 311852, 64032288 and 64032289
