Description
This is an excellent Brand New Steel Billet Camshaft for the Austin Healey 1275, MG Midget 1275 and Austin Mini 1275. You MUST use the later A + Oil pump (Part #CO816 Stock or #POL900 High Flow) to match this camshaft drive. The later pump is a much better pump and is a great upgrade. Another advantage of a New performance camshaft is a larger base circle that the camshaft starts with which equals a longer camshaft life. After researching we have found this Fast Road/Rally Grind gives a big punch of mid range power power continuing into the upper RPM of 7000 without sacrificing too much driveablitliy. The idle has a little lump to i and pulls very strong from 1800 rpm up. Good quality stock dual valve springs are suggested for this camshaft. Make sure you always use new lifters (Tappets).
