This is an Electric fuel pump Made in New Zealand which is solid state electronics. The FUELFLOW™ ECCO pump is loosely styled on the original SU type electric fuel pump. Made for a Sprite Midget 1098 and 1275 with electronic, solid state, Dual Polarity, switching and control which eliminates the use of contact breaker points. A built in 50 Micron fuel filter will help with contamination but an inline fuel filter is still recommended since most classic British cars sit for much of the year. Also, the pumps turn off when they come to pressure. Not like cheap aftermarket pumps that run continuously.
