This pad might not seem like much but it is very important to the health of your taillamp assembly. It seals the lamp base and keeps moisture and debris from getting behind the assembly and deteriorating the body or the chrome on the lamp body. Weather, hash cleaners and time will deteriorate this pad. Put a new set in your MG and your tail lamp will be happy. Cross Reference 164-870
