Hood Catch Spring, MGB, Sprite, Midget

This part is offically known as a bonnett spring for the latch.  Like with everything this catch will wear out after years of use.  These springs get weak or are lost.  Replace you unit with a new one and have it be the last time you have to deal with it.  Cross Reference 4G1588, 406-060
