Description
This is a thin Jam nut with a thread pitch of 3/8x24 that is used in many braking and clutch applications. For braking applications it used on most brake hoses that are going into the hardline. And it is also used brake light switches that are adjustable, as do MGB 1968 to 1974 1/2 and MG Midget 1968 to 1979. With use these nuts get road grim in them and can strip out when trying to remove them from the brake hose. Make you job easy and order a jam nut for you car. Cross Ref.# 310-070
