These brackets take a beating, they hang down just waiting to get drug across something or with the force of the shock the shock link hole get ovaled out. When you replace your rear spring take a good look at these and replace if any of the holes are not round or if there are any bends or scrapes. These are correct for the Austin Healey Sprite 1964 to 1969 and the MG Midget 1964 to 1979. Both of these vehicles use what is called the 1/2 elliptical style rear Spring.
