This a Lucas voltage regulator (control box) for Austin & Morris Mini 1959 to 1967, Austin Healey Sprite & MG Midget 1962 to 1969, MGA MkII, Triumph TR3, TR4, TR4A. The Lucas regulator has been individually tested and correctly adjusted to match the charging system on your British car. Modern batteries cannot take the voltage output of the generators and need to be reduced to get the longest life out of your battery C.R.# 37183, 37264, 37290, 542-100, 542-101, NCB101X.
