DynoAlt is the the alternator that looks like a generator and has a built in voltage regulator. You can move the wires on your old voltage regulator to by pass it. But we have found it is much easier, cleaner and safer to start fresh with a Dummy Regulator with a built in fuse. This is the RB106 regulator with the screw in style connections.
