This is a pair of drilled and slotted brake rotors for a MGB. Give your car the best braking possible. There are several advantages to using a drilled and slotted brake rotor on your MGB. Slots in the rotor accomplish a couple of tasks. The first is the slots cause air turbulence which keep the rotor clean of debris and dust and will keep the rotor cooler. Second the slots and the holes provide a place for the gases of the brake pads to escape during heavy breaking. When a brake pad becomes very hot it out gases which can cause a barrier between the brake pad and the rotor. The slots allow the gasses to be pushed out away from the brake pad keeping the pad in full contact with the brake rotor. All of these advantages add up to shorter braking for your MGB.
