Description
Give your radiator a helping hand and keep overheating at bay in hot, stop-and-go traffic with this fan shroud for your MGB 1963 to 1976.
There’s a reason radiator shrouds come standard on almost every modern vehicle MG for some reason chose to not (But if they did it would have been made from cardboard :) . By creating a sealed chamber between the fan and radiator, this shroud pulls air evenly across the entire radiator not just the center where the fan sits. The result? Better airflow where it counts when your sitting in traffic watching your temperature guage like a hawk.
While the shroud won’t change your engine’s operating temperature (that’s the thermostat’s job), it will significantly improve cooling efficiency at low speeds or when you’re sitting still when overheating is most likely. Expect about a 20% improvement in low-speed cooling performance.
Made from durable black high-impact polyethylene, this is a clean, good-looking part that feels like something the MG factory should’ve included from the start. Once installed, it’s nearly invisible.
Installation couldn’t be easier. No extra fasteners needed just set it in place and it’s securely held by the existing radiator bolts. Removal is just as quick and simple.
A small upgrade that delivers big peace of mind.
