This Pertronix Ignitor II System and Flame Thrower Ignition Coil Kit will take all of the guess work out of what is needed to improve the ignition on your Negative Ground; Triumph TR250, Triumph TR6, MGC. Never change points again or have to adjust points again! With this kit you get a high out put Pertronix Ignitor II that produces four times the voltage to the spark plugs than standard points, a 45,000 volt Flame Thrower Ignition coil matched to the Ignitor and easy installation instructions. Both of the Flame Thrower coils produce the same voltage, it just depends if you would like a bright Chrome Coil or Stain Black coil. You do not need to remove the distributor from the car and no new wires will need to be run to install these units. It should be noted this kit is for customers that need a stronger spark and performance in the upper RPM range the Pertronix Ignitor II Ignition System produces twice as much spark at the plug between 3000 rpm and 5000 rpm than the standard Pertronix Ignitor Systems. Advanced circuitry senses the higher rpm and adjusts for the inherent electronic delay to keep a constant spark.
