If you want best performance out of the Ignition system this is the kit for you. The kit includes; Pertronix Ignitor Kit (Negative Ground), Heavy Duty Red Ignition Rod to stop any rotor burn through with the higher ignition output, Heavy Duty Copper terminal cap again to move the most power through the distributor cap, Premium Ignition wire set and set of (4) of Premium Champion spark plugs. All of these parts are top quality and will greatly improve the starting and drivability of your MGB. Some have asked why use the push in style distributor cap for the earlier 1963 through 1967 MGB. The push in distributor cap has a much larger contact area with the ignition wires and will move more power through the cap. It also seals out moisture much better.
