Description
Screw for engine plate below duplex timing gear on crankshaft - Classic Mini and all A-series engines with duplex timing gears. These small countersunk screws are used to secure the front engine plate to the front main caps on A-series engines when duplex timing gears are used. Early engines with simplex chains had more clearance and standard hex bolts were used, but later taller gears for the duplex gears made a countersunk allen head screw necessary for clearance.
