This is a quality made Constant Velocity Joint made for Austin Mini 1275 Cooper S 1963 to 1971, Austin Mini 1275 GT 1971 to 1975 and Austin Mini IV, V, VI to 2000. There where two variants of CV joints, this unit is the latter made to be torqued to 193 lbs, please consult your repair manual for further details. We have found the when wheel bearings fail it marks up with joint as well as damages the race of the bearings. It is a wise idea to always change the bearings when replacing this joint.
