Description
This is a Mini Cooper S drive flange as used on all cars with 7.5 brake disc and 10 Inch Wheels (1963 to 1971) and Mini 1275GT with 7.5 Inch Brake Disc and 10 Inch wheels (1971 to 1974). Made from and Uprated EN8 Steel this is an upgrade from the standard steel which came stock. The standard steel units where not made for the increase in performance and have a tendency to strip out. The updated EN8 material offers a much more robust splines and strength in the mounting face for superior life compared to the stock unit. In addition to this the unit provides a much more wear resistant shoulder for the outer wheel bearing to ridge against. With this you will get longer life from your wheel bearings. Please refer to your shop repair manual to make sure the outer mounting nut has the correct 150 lbs applied to keep all of the components in their proper alignment.
