Description
Chrome door pocket trim Classic Mini 1960-1970 and all Pick Ups and Vans. This is the chrome trim that covers the tops of the sliding window door pockets. The door pockets were only possible on the Mk I and Mk II Minis since there was no need for wind-up window regulators in the doors. This created a storage oppurtunity in the little cars that was highlighted in the original marketing. Sir Alec Issagonis was said to have based the dimensions of the pockets to safely fit a bottle of gin. The very first 80,000 Minis had a slightly different trim piece for the pockets which is why these show fitment from 1960 - not 1959.
