Description
This is a complete exhaust hanger and clamp kit for a Triumph TR4. This kit is an upgrade for the original style fitting kit used on the the Triumph TR3B Type. The improved design allows the whole exhaust system to move as the engine moves on its mountings, causing minimal torsional forces on the individual boxes and you will get longer life from the center mount. The Triumph TR3A system rigidly mounts the center mount and this is an improvement on that, and the movement of the engine causes torsional stress on the joint between the downpipe and the silencers. This frequently reduces the life of this joint so it is our option this later mount system is a superior design. Keep your new exhaust system from hanging down on the ground. Cross Reference 812-048
