This is a Rear Shock absorber for a Triumph GT6 with Roto Flex rear suspension used on the 1968 to 1972. This shock absorber has not been available for many years and we brought them back at a great price. Get rid of the bouncy feeling shocks and change your shocks with a new set.
Shocks are an important part of the Triumph Spitfire's and GT6 suspension system and help keep the tires in contact with the road to keep you car stable and predictable. They also ensure that you the drive or passenger get a smooth ride along the road. Like all other suspension pieces, they where overtime and need to be inspected and replaced time to time. Be sure to watch out for the common signs of shock absorber wear. One of the common signs that your Triumph Spitfire and GT6 may be experiencing problems is with "bottoming out” when going over bumps in the road. This will cause a sharp jarring effect for the driver and passenger and fun of a Sunday drive is greatly reduced. Another common sign of worn shocks absorbers is when the front end of the Triumph Spitfire, GT6 dives forward while the brakes are applied causing it to nose dive.
