Transmission Front Cover Scroll Type

This is the front cover that presses in to the bell housing with a scroll type seal on a Triumph Spitfire 1975 to 1978. With this type of scroll seal it depends on movement to create a positive pressure to keep the oil from coming out of the front of the transmission. And this sleeve is very easily broken during the removal of the transmission or bell housing. With this type there is NO physical rubber seal that keeps the oil in place.
