The upper shock bolt that it used on the Triumph Spitfire 1962 to 1980 and the GT6 1966 to 1973 is unique and has a shoulder that the upper bushings ride on. Previous owner sins have replaced the upper bolt which leads to a very slopply fit and the shock is not able to do its job well. With this kit you will get the correct bolt, washer and nut.
