Description
The Triumph TR250, Triumph TR6 and Triumph GT6 engines have a two-piece exhaust valve retainer. The two pieces fit together and form the top cap that holds the top of the valve spring. (The two little keeper pieces fit into the top of the cap.) We never used to keep the valve caps in stock. It has become apparent that people need them: For one thing the exhaust valve caps have a nasty tendency to crack. Check yours carefully whenever you are doing a cylinder head overhaul. When taking apart a head for a valve job, it is fairly common for one or more of the valve cap pieces to become lost. We have brand new valve caps in stock now at an affordable price. Supplied as a set of one inner and one outer cap. Six needed per engine. Cross Reference 821-220, 821-230
