This is a Viton timing cover seal for MGB, Austin Healey Sprite late 948 to 1275 and MG Midget 1962 to 1974 and Austin Mini . (Does not replace original felt seal on early Sprites, Midgets and MGA) Cross reference # 120-000, 2A939, 88G561, NA473, WRT13
This Style of timing cover oil seal has been improved with a different shaped lip to fight against the crankcase pressure and keep the oil on the inside of the engine. This seal is made to withstand high temperature, while simultaneously retaining its great sealing properties. Viton® remain substantially elastic when exposed to temperatures up to 400°F (204°C) or to intermittent exposures up to 600°F (316°C)
