We have found a great high quality washable Ram Flo style Chrome oval foam air filter for MG Midget 1500 1975 to 1979 and Triumph Spitfire 1971 to 1980 using the original Zenith-Stromberg CD150 carburetor. Cross Ref.# 1071 This filter has large surface to help your car breath easy. It is High Volume, Flame resistant, Cleanable air filter. The flame resistant foam element can be used with dry or oiled. If using dry, simply wash in warm soapy water, dry and replace. If you wish to oil the foam, first wash in mineral turps or kerosene, then wash in warm soapy water, dry, saturate in filter oil kneading the oil through until evenly dispersed through the foam.
