100% brand new crankshaft damper with pulley for the Triumph Spitfire 1971 to 1980 and MG Midget 1500. For years there was zero option for a damper for your Triumph Spitfire or 1500 MG Midget. Our damper is made with the best quality and functionality, Each pulley is fully balanced, with the correct timing mark notched into the pulley like original, ready to bolt on. For some reason Triumph took a short cut and did not design the 1300 (1971 to 1972) or 1500 engine for a vibration damper, by not doing this we feel it causes torsional vibration which will lead to premature failure of the number three connecting rod on the 1500 engines. With a vibration damper it reduces torsional vibration which is the end to end twisting and rebounding of the crankshaft caused by each cylinder firing.
