Tired making a huge mess changing your oil in your MGA and MGB up to 1967 (See Note) this is the unit for you. The standard oil filter system is ok on the MGA and the Early MGB but it does have one major huge major fault. When you turn off the engine all the oil drains back into the oil (no anti drain back valve in filter). Since there is no anti drain back valve all the oil drains out of the engine. With a spin-on oil filter it stops oil drain and keeps the engine bearing full of oil. But the biggest thing is that oil doesn't spill out every where when you pull the original canister style out. ***NOTE Very IMPORTANT on the MGB 1963 to 1967 this can ONLY be used if you have a modern gear reduction starter. The canister hangs style filter hangs down too far and will interfere with the original starter. Call for Details. ***
