Triumph doors have a considerable amount of weight on them and it is all born by two small hinges. Then add the fact that the hinges are seldom lubricated, it’s no wonder that the hinge pivots become loose and worn out. The pivot pin in the door hinge is peened into place during assembly. It is not replaceable or serviceable. Badly worn hinges will cause the back end of the doors to droop down which makes them hard to latch the door and can cause body and paint damage. The door shell may hit the rocker panel or B-post because it has drooped so much. We have found a great source for hinges and are passing a long the savings to you.
