This is a spin on oil filter adapter kit for a Triumph TR250, Triumph TR6. The adapter has an improved the sealing that is spring loaded center which better tolerates any variations in engine block mating faces., which means better sealing and no more leaks. Includes mounting gasket. Tired making a huge mess changing your oil in your Triumph TR250, Triumph TR6 and Triumph GT6 this is the unit for you. The standard oil filter system is ok on the Triumph TR250 and TR6 but it does have one major huge major fault. When you turn off the engine
all the oil drains back into the oil (no anti drain back valve in filter). Since there is no anti drain back valve all the oil drains out of the engine. With a spin-on oil filter it stops oil drain and keeps the engine bearing full of oil. Don't forget a new High Capacity oil filter Part # GFE131SP
